Welcome to my shop! My name is Emily, and I live in Corvallis, Oregon. I have been a Shoemaker since 2017, where I learned about leather and all it takes to work with it. Leather shoemaking led me to creating wallets, handbags, bracelets, earrings, eyeglass cases, and other leather accessories. Some of my pieces are other people's patterns, but most are self-drafted. I picked up much of my pattern-making from tearing things apart and seeing how they were put together, as I have not been formally taught. I have made many iterations of the same piece, slightly modified, to get something 'just right'. I usually do a combination of machine sewing and hand stitching. Sometimes the piece might be impossible to get under the sewing machine, but also because I very much enjoy it! I love working with my hands and hope to continue for a very long time.
