Born and raised in California I have been heavily influenced by the hippie and bohemian culture, and to some extent surf culture. I have always worked with my hands, whether it be building something, or creating art work. I am happiest when I am creating. I work full time, I am a proud rescue mom. I have three dogs (2 German Shepherds and a Belgian Malinois) and now a kitten, well one of the dogs is with me temporarily, but I treat him as if he was one of the pack. Needless to say my life is never boring! Especially with the Malinois, it is like having a toddler around daily, but I love every bit of it.
With this being said one way I unwind and get away from it all is to craft. Crafting items relaxes me, keeps my brain going, and opens me up to trying things that I may not try otherwise, and forces me to step out of my comfort zone. My creations are very diverse; apparel, drinkware, home décor items, pens, and my favorite; jewelry, and so much more.
My shop Just A Boho Chic (chick), is who I am. I have always felt awkward and little different, and I often times see things differently than others. So I have taken advantage of my unconventional personality and channeled it into my handcrafted work, which I affectionately call "BoHippie"; which is the combination of my Bohemian and Hippie spirit.
I believe, there is nothing better than Being True To Yourself, Doing What Makes You Happy, and Always LOVING Yourself. Stay Forever Socially and Artistically Unconventional! Be You! Do You! Love You!
