Hello. I was a special education teacher for thirty-four years! I am now retired and am spending much of my free time sewing.
My mom did a lot of sewing when I was a child. She made most of our clothes until we were old enough to protest. We did not appreciate having unique, homemade clothing at that age.
I took an interest in learning to sew at a young age so my mom started teaching me. I sewed off and on throughout my life when I had extra time. Now that I have more time to sew I am honing my skills and learning new skills by reading books and watching videos. I enjoy the creative process.
