Mela Knotted Handcrafts was created during a difficult time. I was under a lot of stress and picked up a crochet hook and not only was it cathartic, but I was encouraged to sell my projects. I am Autistic and Introverted, so it is really difficult for me to put myself out there so to speak. Crochet is one of my special interest, however I tend to bore of creating the same thing over and over again. As you will notice in my shop there is a lot of color, which represents how I feel inside and various items from hats and bags to coasters. I get so many ideas, it's hard to settle on one thing. I also, believe that makes purchasing from my shop even more special, you will in most cases have a one of one, or one of a few. I hope you find something that makes you as happy as making it, makes me.
