I started wood turning around 2010 when I discovered a love for lathes while working as a precision machinist. Since then lots has happened and while I haven't always been in a place where I could set up my lathe, I never considered leaving it behind. Now I'm thrilled to find myself in a place in life where I have dedicated shop/studio space and am taking full advantage. I've always enjoyed precision work and sometimes it's all I can do to remind myself that breaking out the micrometers isn't really necessary. I'm constantly looking for new ways to give my skills and challenging myself with new techniques and projects.
