My shop Mags & Alta is named after my two grandmothers. One fun and spunky, (Alta), while the other (Marguerite) was gracious and kind. I try to make sure all my handmade items encompasses all those traits.
I call myself a serial creative because I usually have 4 projects going at once. I can't stop creating! I love combining pieces of quilts, ribbon, seasonal fabrics, found objects and paper along with my funny face painted women to create cards, monogram letters, fabric trees and hearts. Something new may pop up you never know!
The hand cut and embroidered letters and numbers are so fun to make! Let me help you personalize a sweatshirt, a tote, or what ever you desire. I love saving an old quilt lovingly made by another creative human being and giving it a new meaningful way to exist in this world.
