As is often the case, I've had an interest in art for as long as I can remember, and in high school, I was inspired to pursue art as a career.
This inspiration led me to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Kansas State University, and I worked in several photography jobs before I finally took the plunge to officially start my own photography business, which focuses on portrait, commercial, and event photography (www.jackiekuehlphoto.com).
With my Goimagine store, Jackie Kuehl Arts, my art focuses on landscapes and nature that I find during my travels. The process of creating art has always been a great source of relaxation and joy for me, and I hope that the resulting art can be a source of enjoyment for you as well.
I was born and raised in South Dakota, but I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my husband, Phillip, and our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Evey and Mia. I have weaknesses for puppies of all ages, hummingbirds, and nurturing my slight addiction to chocolate chip cookies. I also love cheering on the Wildcats with fellow members of the K-State Family.
