I'm Melissa, the light of WubaLife. My journey with soaps and everything that has followed is all owed to my grandmother, whose influence still lives in everything I create.
At WubaLife, we believe in living a little slower. In noticing the way light moves through the room. In the comfort of stillness. In the small, quiet moments that so often pass us by. Our scents are designed to bring you back to those moments-to create a sense of warmth, familiarity, and ease within your space.
Each reusable vessel is thoughtfully made to feel like it has always belonged. A soft presence in your home. A gentle reminder to slow down and stay awhile.
Fun fact: Wuba is Swahili and means, 'I saw Beauty'. So my rough translation for WubaLife is, 'I saw a beautiful life'.
Okay, so I'm an introverted coffeeaholic. I've married my hero who is my dearest bestest friend and we have four adventurous, amazing, witty (shall I go on?) adult children. My hubs and I are devoted to our church. And I'm dearly in love with my six (yes, six!) cats! Two are Sebastian & Biscuit (or Thor, depends on who's talking to him), they both have Cerebellar Hypoplaysia, with Sebastian also having twisted leg syndrome (mostly corrected) and a huge heart. Everyday they makes us laugh!! We as well have our feisty senior cat, Bella and three torties named Miss Pip, Sophie Girl & Mercy that were basically dumped into my lap, lol!
