Colored Chaos

Colored Chaos came about when I started doing Acrylic Pour art. I loved the look, colors, and unpredictability of this art form and I was lucky enough to have friends and family who were interested in buying from me. Well, then I discovered resin which took it to another level and I would watch YouTube videos of others to get ideas and such. This led me to resin and wood turning which I thought was really cool and I just had to buy a lathe. I LOVE my lathe and the different things I can make by combining techniques with color, resin, and wood.

I work full-time as a surgery nurse and this is more of a hobby and stress reliever. I try to use items from work for my packaging in order to save more hospital waste from the landfill. Most likely you will find my items wrapped in the blue sterile processing drapes that wrap sterile instruments and that we typically throw away prior to a patient arriving at the surgical suite. These items are nowhere near blood or bodily fluids and make great drop cloths, so hopefully, you can also get a use out of them. I try to recycle boxes when I can also. In other words, you may not find pretty papers in my packaging or even blank boxes. I try to keep my costs down while recycling what I can and still do what I love to do which is creating chaos with colors.
