My jewelry-making journey started back in high school in the early 1990s when I was in high school.  My very resourceful dad provided me with some tools and pure silver tokens to experiment with. I started my research and checked out books from the library on silversmithing and jewelry making. Through trial and error, I taught myself how to forge and solder silver. I then started selling jewelry to friends in high school and decided to go onto college to pursue an art degree. After a couple years, my undeniable love for music led me to a degree in the music and video business instead. However, I continued making jewelry in my spare time.

After years of working a “real” job, getting married, and having kids my jewelry-making hobby dwindled. Unexpectedly, the company I had worked for over 16 years closed their doors and I found myself contemplating a new career. So I decided to take the chance and open up my jewelry studio again.

I primarily work in solid sterling silver but have also made many pieces in gold and platinum. Everything I make is handmade – no casting here! Since it’s hand crafted, there are natural variations and imperfections in my work – just like in life!
