I love the feel and even the smell of clay, clay has a special place in my heart. I am amazed by what can be made out of clay, which is basically tiny dirt particles mixed with water, aka mud! I took ceramics in high school and I use those same skills today. Everything I make is hand built meaning I don't use a pottery wheel. I roll out slabs then cut, add texture and then form them into unique pieces. Much of my work is inspired by creation. My goal in my craft is to make pieces that are both functional and beautiful. All of my pieces are unique and one of a kind. The differences come from the various forms I use or the glazing no two pieces are alike. I was born and raised in San Francisco Bay Area and relocated in KY in 2013. I have an A.S in Photography and a B.A. in Art Studio. I teach Digital Media for a private school and work in ceramics in the summer. I love the outdoors and have a dog named Ladybug who keeps me company while I am in the ceramic studio!
