My interest in sewing and other handiwork continues to expand. My studio overlooks a lovely creek, in our home in the mountains of western North Carolina. A diverse fiber and crafts community has flourished in this area for generations.
I love what I do, and I look forward to sharing it with you. Although it’s satisfying to finish a successful project, it's much more gratifying to know that the creation is in the hands of a person who is delighted to own it. You honor me with your purchase!

Quilt is absolutely beautiful! Exceeded my expectations.
This is the second quilt that I've purchased from Lois. The first was a queen size quilt and this is a throw quilt. When I got the first queen size quilt in, I found myself pulling it off the bed to cuddle up in on the couch because it felt so wonderful! So I saw this beauty of a throw and now it's just there on my couch waiting for us! I love it and the quality is just amazing. Love it so!
Beautiful quilt! When young, I had a quilt from granny and I so loved that quilt. But through the years it disappeared and not sure what happened to it. To this day, I still miss that quilt. I've looked at store quilts everywhere but just nothing even close to the look and the feel of a handmade quilt. Lois' work had great reviews so I took a chance and ordered it as a Christmas present to me. :) The quilt is absolutely beautiful and has that same feel that granny's did (even though granny's was quite a bit more 'broke in'). The craftsmanship is amazing and just exceeded any expectations. It washed up perfectly! Lois answered all my questions and was wonderful to work with! I couldn't love it more!! This is a gorgeous quilt and the quality is top notch. I should have looked a little closer at the dimensions as this ended up being a little on the small side for a king sized bed, but I am very happy with it.
The picture on the website doesn't do it justice. It is truly beautiful and the workmanship is exceptional. It arrived two days earlier than expected! I couldn't be more pleased.
Very well made and the colors very rich. I was all that it was pictured and described to be. Expensive but well worth the purchase due to the qualitative work in the quilt. Very happy and pleased with my purchase as temperatures begin the get cooler. MV
This quilt is so vibrant, the design is unique, and the stitching is striking. As I hoped, it goes very well with the colors in the room. The delivery occurred within a few days of the order.
