As a little girl I grew up watching my mother make beautiful clothes for women. She was an expert seamstress and had her own shop in the small town where we lived.
She taught me everything she knew and instilled in me her love for design.
I got married, had two children and started making clothes for them. People would stop me in the street to ask me where I got their clothes. And so my business was born. I started to wholesale my designs to children's boutiques and was in Neiman Marcus's Christmas catalog for 5 years.
After several years, an opportunity to manage a retail store for a national chain presented itself. I loved the challenge of my new position so I sold my business and moved on.
Years went by and again, my creative side started to tug at me. I began to experiment with various designs. Little by little I developed my style and interest to what it is today.
In October 2018, I finally retired from retail and my husband and I moved to Cumming, Georgia. I can now devote my time to what I love. I hope it shows in my work!
