Hi, my name is Dawn! I am a wife and mother, who grew up in Connecticut and moved to California in my twenties. As a long-time user of black seed oil for its reputed healing benefits, I was surprised to find there were no products harnessing its power along with beautiful fragrances. That sparked the idea for Black Seed Botanicals.
I've always loved candles and essential oils. But I really became fascinated with the rich history behind black seed oil, dating back 3,000 years. The more I researched, the more intrigued I became by its multitude of wellness uses - from promoting heart and liver health to supporting hair growth and skin nourishment.
So I decided to blend my passions - gorgeous scents and holistic wellness. By skillfully formulating black seed oil with essential oils and other thoughtfully sourced ingredients, I created a product line that heals, soothes and smells divine.
The feedback from friends and family made me believe I was onto something special. Our hair oils leave locks silky soft, while reducing shedding and itchy scalp. The beard oils moisturize skin while taming unruly whiskers. And the candles and hair serum quickly became daily self-care rituals that uplift the senses.
As a maker, the most meaningful compliment is when Black Seed Botanical fans tell me our products are now part of their daily wellness routines. I poured my heart into crafting an inspiring product line from seed to finish. Knowing my creations radiate both inner and outer glow is a dream realized.
