Hello Loves & Welcome to my Shop!  I am Missy and I am a self taught metal artist.  I have been doing this for only about a year and a half (as of September 2021).  It all started during quarantine.  I really thought that I needed to step up my game from my "Gasparilla" type of jewelry that I have been creating with beading, painting, gluing etc.  (Gasparilla is Tampa, Florida's version of Mardi Gras) However, with Covid our parades and socials were cancelled or at a very minimum level.  This did not provide for too many sales above and beyond my usual friends that always support me.  I thought I would have to get a real job, which was difficult during Covid.  To avoid this and being able to keep doing what I love, I deeply researched a lot of different mediums and I finally settled on metal, but the fabulous metal Copper really stood out.  I just fell in LOVE.  My boyfriend, Rusty, is always asking me to get out of my art studio, which is currently just a fancy name for my dining room and sometimes kitchen, and God Bless him I rarely do.  Remember I said I was in Love and when I say I pour a lot of love into each and every piece - I really mean it!  You should definitely feel it if you are intuitive like that!

In my prior life, I was in the hotel industry for about 25 years - Sales Manager, Director of Catering, Director of Sales - I truly loved it but I got burned out and started to try other industries - paralegal, retail, construction (in the office with A/C, of course).  Nothing settled, until Rusty went back to owning his construction company.  I just scored an at home job, it was beautiful.  Even though I spend A LOT of time in my "Art Studio", I still have time to do things for him here and there.  He has been so supportive - he doesn't even question my new tools, that I usually get from our construction company since this department is the largest profit center in our household.  He just goes and buys more.  I am Super Blessed & Very Grateful!!!
