The Decadent Dog is owned and operated by Patti Jessup and Curtis Tysinger. Patti is a former large and giant breed dog groomer and is well aware of the strength a collar should possess to properly handle dogs weighing in excess of 100 lbs.  She specializes in handcrafting martingale and buckle dog collars and velvet leashes for large and giant breed dogs that are as durable as they are beautiful.  Curtis owned and operated a commercial sign business for 25 years. Today in his retirement, he crafts super cute personalized wooden collar and leash holders with "dog butt" hooks for walls to help owners organize their pet accessories. All items are handcrafted in our studio in North Carolina.

LOVE these collars. The width is so nice as there's less pressure if they decide to pull. The colors are vibrant, and the collars are cute and nice quality.

This collar is beautifully and very WELL made. It looks like a kingly collar on my dog (his name is Elvis, sooooo…). I bought a second collar similar to this one (blue background instead of black) for my other pup and was waiting till we’d put these collars through the wringer of craziness at dog sports events and these collars did not disappoint. In particular, Elvis acts like a total donkey and is very hard to keep hold of. This collar held up great under the duress of his bucking and screaming and attempts at escape. The width of the collar is super helpful to keep it from digging into his neck and gave me a better hold on him. The buckle is secure too - VERY important. A win all the way around!

This is both a beautifully made and very WELL made collar. It looks like a kingly collar on my dog. They held up very well under the stress of much pulling and bucking by my dogs. The width of them was much better for my pups AND for my grip on them. Nice to have style and function.
