I am always making custom sizes upon request. You can specify your exact size. If you'd like, you can even pick your burl pieces from photoshop layouts I can send you. So you have a good idea of what your mirror will look like. I can usually build and ship within 2-3 weeks. Also, there are options for the mirror frame as well - Solid Cherry or Expresso Stain. How it’s Made
“Burl” is unique formations, often hidden beneath the bark, has become highly prized for their intricate patterns and rich colors. These unique patterns make each piece of burl wood distinct, and the natural variations ensure that no two pieces are identical.
Cherry burl is one of the most beautiful. I seek out burl primarily from the Northeast.
I mill it, dry it, and stabilize it. The unique pits and void are filled with dark epoxy resin and the surface is finished to a smooth satin finish.
