The bracelet is also anodized aluminum. The 2 Swirls that are on there make the bracelet very delicate – so don’t try and pick up 9 grocery bags ladies. Meet the Maker
I am Missy Prégeant, Designer & Creator at Designs By Missy, LLC. For years, I have been crafting unique pieces for the Krewes of Gasparilla, a tradition I hold dear. When the pandemic hit and events were canceled, I knew it was time to pivot and expand my creative horizons. After extensive research, I found my new passion in working with metals, particularly Copper and Aluminum, but also Steel and Brass.
My journey into metalworking is self-taught, beginning during quarantine. I focus on creating Wearable Art, often starting without a pre-drawn plan and letting the process guide me. The best part? I absolutely LOVE what I do. My Art Studio, which is just a fancy name for my Dining Room, is where I spend most of my time, only stepping out to cook, eat, and sleep. I feel incredibly blessed that God gave me this talent, and His timing couldn't have been more perfect. HIS timing is always Perfect!
Before this artistic venture, I spent about 25 years in the hotel industry, holding roles such as Guest Service Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Catering, and Director of Sales. While I loved my time in hospitality, burnout led me to seek a new path. Today, I am grateful and blessed to be where I am, doing what I love every single day. God is Good!!!

How it’s Made
Missy crafts this set with anodized aluminum wire. She skillfully twists the heavy gauge, for its sturdiness, and lightweight aluminum to create a stunning, artistic design that enhances any outfit, from casual wear to gala attire.
The Earrings, Missy personally uses her hands to shape and create them into this Beautiful Statement. She also uses her Diamond Cut Hammering Method to add any little more dynamic to the earrings. Each pair of earrings is complete with pure copper ear wires that she flame paints and shapes into the wires that you will place in your ear holes.
