How it’s Made
A leaf shape is hand sawn from a sheet of copper. The edges are filed and sanded. next comes the veining using a hammering technique. Then I prepare it for the flame painting process. Under the flame of a torch the colors develop on the surface of the piece in a completely unique pattern and colors. There will never be another piece that looks like this one.
