Italian Cypress-Ring Dish - Put this dish next to your sink as a place to keep your rings safe and free of soap scum for less cleaning and more shine. Great on night stands and dressers for jewelry you wear daily. This Italian Cypress was harvested from trees that were removed due to wild fire concerns. One of our main goals in wood working is to harvest our own material in hopes of saving trees from the chipper and land fill!

How it’s Made
When making bowls I prefer the twice turned method. This means that I turn the wood green and then dry it for up to a year. during that time the grain will relax and then I will turn it again and apply finish. Wood is an Organic material that is constantly moving. This process means that the bowl will be more stable and hold its shape better. All of my bowls are coated with food safe linseed oil and bees wax.
