About this Product
Slim olive and tan leather messenger bag with a 1.25" wide adjustable strap.
The vegetable-tanned leather is from a tannery in Tuscany and has a beautiful suede-like finish on the backside. I get 2 hides in each color - one for the body of the bag (4.5/5 oz) and the other is a heavier weight hide (7.5/8 oz) that I use for the straps. All hand-stitched with matching Ritza Tiger thread from Germany well known for its strength and durability. The bag is roughly 4.5" x 7" x 1.5". There is a small interior pocket.
These little satchels are sturdy little carry companions. The minis are designed to fit a cell phone and slim wallet. They can be clipped inside a larger matching tote to keep your valuables safe but are a useful little bag in their own right. All Messengers have a slim interior back pocket. They are cute and smart-looking. Matching dog collars and leads are available.
Choice of strap. Please note: The bag in the pictures is shown with a 3/4" wide Biothane and Leather strap but comes with a 1.25" adjustable olive leather strap. Available also with a 3/4" tan strap with roller buckle. You choose!
Alpine Leather Goods
Meet the Maker
The Alps, legendary for their fashionable and elegant resorts were the inspiration behind Alpine.
The Alpine look is a style, reminiscent of cozy mountain villages where tradition and craft were valued. This is where I grew up and is the inspiration behind my designs. Just like a vintage Swiss Army bag, our bags are still all individually made and hand-stitched.
I live in New England now with my rescue English Bull Terrier (Fly), cat (Merry), goat (Dex), chickens, and my Haflinger (Maribel aka Bellie).
Shop Policies
To help defray the cost of shipping, I charge a flat $5.00 shipping fee in the US. All orders are shipped USPS Priority and boxed to protect the bag.
My bags are all hand-stitched and require many hours of work to make and therefore, they are not returnable. That said, we want to make sure you are happy and really love your bag so please message me if that's not the case and we will make it right!
