About this Product

Machine embroidery files to make this cellphone holder.

5 x 7 inch hoop for case

4x4 inch hoop for flap/tab

This project is done completely in the hoop. There is one opening in the lining that can be hand stitched or closed using fusible tape or liquid stitch. This is a quick to make project so it would be great for making up a bunch for your crafts shows or handmade shops. You add a ribbon tab and you can slip a hook, d-ring, or belt hook through. Personally, my favorite is to use the hook or d-ring and attach it to my lanyard. As stated in the instructions, I suggest a grosgrain ribbon because of its strength.

The entire bag is fully lined with no exposed seams. It is done in two hoopings. I give you step by step instructions with a lot of photos of the entire project. I also include a lot of helpful tips and information that will make this a great project for a beginner.

It will fit most phones (refer to image for dimensions). I've tried many phones in this case. It even fits my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra which is a bit longer than most phones. I give you two tab options, a small one is fine for a very small phone, but for most phones you'll use the larger tab/flap and it will be a beautiful fit! I don't believe this will fit the super big phones, although my phone is the biggest Samsung right now. Please refer to the dimensions in the image. They are also included in the instructions.

Be sure to check the image gallery for sizing information.

If you prefer a larger phone holder, I do have one here in my shop where you will use a 6x10 hoop.

This phone case/holder is made with a 5x7 inch hoop for the holder, and a 4x4 inch hoop for the flap/tab.

Meet the Maker

I've been designing craft and sewing projects since 1993. About eight years ago I started getting emails from digitizers offering to turn my sewing patterns into embroidery files. I had no idea what "in the hoop" even meant or even the fact that embroidery machines could do so much. After several emails I decided to see what this digitizing was all about, and I became fascinated. How exciting to have another creative outlet! So, I took some online classes, purchased embroidery machines, and digitizing software. I figured that I had hundreds of sewing patterns (mug rugs & applique templates) it's time to start turning them into embroidery designs. I still design sewing patterns and enjoy turning my embroidery designs to sewing patterns and my sewing patterns into embroidery designs!

How it’s Made

All my embroidery designs are completely designed by me. I start from scratch drawing them in my drawing program. Once I'm happy with my drawing I'll import the image into my embroidery designing program where I design the stitching for use in the embroidery machines. Once it's ready to stitch I will stitch and complete the project at least twice to make sure it's a nice stitch out. If I'm not happy with the finished product, I go back to my design program and make the changes until I get it right.

Once my items are ready to share, I photograph them, write up instructions, and list.

Since I have so many finished products after testing, I share some of them with family and friends. Most of my finished items are donated to various local fundraising events such as animal rescue, and the battered women's shelters.

I only sell the digital files and never the finished product.

Shop Policies

Since all files are digital, refunds are not accepted. However, if you have any issues or problems, I'll be happy to work with you until we get it right. You may use the patterns for personal use and your small business. You can sell the items that you make from these patterns and if you do, I hope they bring you lots of sales! The files, document and its images cannot be sold or shared. If you have any questions about these terms or anything else, just let me know and I will get back to you quickly.
