Meet the Maker
I learned my craft from my elders, and wished to share with the world. I have a small part of the Blackfeet Tribe in my DNA and my art reflects this. I am NOT an enrolled member. I have been beading, working with leather, and making regalia pieces for over 25 years. I also vend at Pow Wows in the Pacific Northwest for the last 25 years. I enjoy creating a wide variety of many different items. I do follow the Laws of the Indian Arts and Crafts Act.
How it’s Made
I have made these earrings using dentalium/ tusk shells, black glass crystal Rondelles, seed beads, black leather, and Jack Skellington Bells. I have double strung for strength and durability. I also use surgical Steel Ear wire.
