Meet our very unique, large silver pendant that features a Brecciated Jasper gemstone. For those who wear big jewelry, or bold jewelry designs, this piece takes the cake. This artisan pendant is 2.6 inches wide and 2 inches in height. It has some weight to it due to the size of the gemstone as well as the weight of the sterling silver. Textured, oxidized and on an 18 inch Italian made sterling silver 'popcorn' chain, this piece is quite special to us.
Found in volcanic and metamporphic rocks, Brecciated Jasper is called a true jasper and is considered a protection stone. Metaphysically, it is said to promote strength and vitality and assists with physical healing and detoxification.

MADE WITH TWO HANDS AND SOME TOOLS......
We love making jewelry that we want to wear. We work with sterling and fine silver and oftentimes, we want to texture it, hammer it, oxidize it. We love mixing metals and materials- copper with silver, or brass with leather. And gemstones: Turquoise, Onyx, Petrified Wood, Opals, the list goes on. Every piece you see in our shop, we made by hand.
Honey Bee Metals is the jewelry-making team of Lisa and Dana. We live and work in Ringwood, NJ and are inspired by the lakes, trees and mountains that surround our small log cabin studio. While we may live and work in a rustic setting, our aesthetic sensibility is borne out of the 1980's punk/new wave 'you can do anything' movement.
