Elegant and artistic, these sterling silver handcrafted earrings have accents of 22 karat gold overlay and are inset with beautiful checkerboard-cut jet black cubic zirconias. They are my own design and entirely handcrafted by me.
The domed silver circles have a soft, brushed finish and hang from handcrafted sterling silver ear wires.
They measure about 1 inch in diameter (25mm). The black cz stones are 6 mm. Together with the ear wires they hang about 1 1/2 inches long (38mm).
They are marked on the back with my maker's mark and the quality mark for sterling.

Meet the Maker
I am a craftsperson making artfully hand-carved sterling silver jewelry. I make jewelry for art lovers. My work is modern, free-spirited and uncommon. When you purchase a piece from me, you are getting a special treasure to enjoy for years to come.
My background as a graphic designer influences everything I create. Carving, line, shape and texture are always at the forefront. Each piece is individually hand carved, imparting a richness of pattern and texture. Because of the nature of hand-carving, my jewelry has a special uniqueness-- no two pieces will ever be exactly alike!
Some fun facts: I started designing and making silver jewelry in 2008, and began selling my work in 2009. I have made over 3000 pieces since then! I'm a Rio Grande certified artisan in metal clay and have achieved level one of the Metal Clay Masters Registry (https://metalclaynow.com/index.php/gallery/masters-registry). I'm also a graduate of Paier School of Art and have worked all my life as a designer. My jewelry collections have been represented in shops and galleries across the United States.
My studio practices are eco-friendly. I use non-toxic and recycled materials whenever possible. I care about our earth and the health of all beings.
Pieces are offered in solid sterling silver or sterling silver accented with a pure, 22 karat gold overlay that is hand-applied.

How it’s Made
I hand apply the gold overlay and bond it to the silver by applying heat with my torch. I apply multiple layers to create a rich coating of pure, 22 karat gold over the silver. The bezel settings for the black cubic zirconias are inset into the domed silver of the earrings, and then I set the stones by hand, burnishing the bezel until the stone is secure.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not happy with your purchase, I will refund you or provide an exchange. But please let me know within 3 days of receiving your item (evelyn@evelynpelati.com). Once I receive the unused return, I will issue the refund or start the exchange process.
My work is warrantied against defects. This warranty does not cover wear and tear, scratches or obvious abuse.
I do not make custom orders.
