Thanks for shopping with me! I started “RyRy&TheBug” in 2023. The name is a nod to my children, Lauren and Ryan. As children, I encouraged both of them to pursue their dreams, and now - as adults- they are encouraging me to do the same! From shell art and children’s pieces to high gloss lacquer finishes and embellished resin inlay, each item is created (or recreated) out of love for RyRy & the Bug?

Meet the Maker

Welcome to RyRy & The Bug!

I started the shop in honor of my children, Lauren and Ryan. Their nicknames - "Bug" and "RyRy" inspired my business name.

For many years, I made pieces for fun, for gifts, and to decorate the house that my husband, Steve, and I own. My love for creativity has led to a business that I started in that very same home in the beautiful state of West Virginia! Each item is handmade and created using vintage pieces, recycled and repurposed items, and with consideration to sustainability for our planet.

Reach out with any questions about items, or the possibility of custom pieces, and be sure to visit our website at https://www.ryryandthebug.com/

All My Best,

Shandon
