About this Product
An 18” keepsake memory bear custom made from clothing, or other sentimental material that hold special memories of a deceased loved one, or mark a special time or event in one’s life. I’ve fine tuned my craft of making memory bears over the years and each one is thoughtfully made with love, care and special attention to detail.
Each memory bear creation is unique in style depending on design options discussed via email and types of clothing/material I’m given to work with.
I try to incorporate as much detail as I can from the clothing to create a one of a kind memory bear. For example, if given a long sleeved dress shirt, I’ll incorporate the collar, cuffs, button placket and pocket from the shirt onto the design of the bear.-
I respect the value of the clothing I receive. So, there will be LOTS of communication during the making of your memory bear to ensure that your vision and ideas are also considered.
Machine embroidered name, dates and/or terms of endearment can be added to one foot or both feet.
A hidden zipper closure can be added to the back of the bear so that cremains can be easily inserted into its tummy.
Additional clothing can be made for your memory bear.

Clothing must be laundered before shipping to me
Turn around time varies and will be determined once clothing is received. If time is of the essence, just contact me and I’ll give you estimation before purchasing. It’s usually 6-8 weeks from June - December. Turn around time is much quicker January - May.
I will stay in touch with you during the process of making your memory bear keepsake to discuss personalization and design options and to ensure that it’s made to your specifications.

Meet the Maker
Hello I’m Cheryl, welcome to my shop! I’m a lifelong maker/ sewist/ creative type, busy body which means that my creative wheels are ALWAYS spinning. Thankfully, I have a wonderful family who supports all of my whims and dreams. I’m primarily a sewist, as I find it to be the most satisfying creative outlet!
Because of the demand for memory keepsakes, I specialize in making t-shirt quilts, memory bears, pillows, ornaments, and accessories.
My guilty pleasure and OBSESSION is bag making. But, the sky’s the limit in what I’m able to create with a sewing machine. I’m a perfectionist by nature and take pride in my craftsmanship and no matter what level of expertise I’ve achieved, I’ll continue to learn, grow and develop my skills as a sewist.

My memory bears are made from a loved one’s clothing or material that has sentimental value. The clothing is deconstructed and sewn with love and care into a lasting memorial keepsake.
