One of a kind, upcycled creation! "Yarrow" shorts, size 6 kids. A modern mix of retro and upcycled materials makes these custom shorts a staple for summer. Functional pockets, false buttoned front, sewn-down cuffs, and elastic back makes for a comfy fit and easy wash and wear. 100% cotton and denim with inside serged seams. Lots of details and hand sewing goes into these sailor shorts. Pictures shown on model are an example of the fit only, not a part of this listing.

Hello fellow handmade lovers! I'm Lovie Nicastro, vintage junkie, sewist, and crafter from a small town outside of Austin, Texas. I am a lover and artist of the upcycle movement. I can't help but reimagine the "junk" that most people discard. Taking my obsession for creating and turning it into thoughtfully handcrafted goods for you, your home, and your soul.
My upcycled goods are crafted in small batches with a personal touch, as I take great pride in every step of their creation. I transform found objects and carefully sourced vintage textiles into unique, eco-friendly pieces that tell a story of sustainability and style. Each creation carries the charm of handmade craftsmanship, bearing witness to the hours of dedication poured into its construction. From the initial selection of materials to the final slow stitches, every aspect of the process is made with love.
How it’s Made
Each handcrafted, custom piece has been well loved and has imperfections that tell a story of its long journey to get to you! Refashioned or upcycling makes use of already existing pieces, uses fewer resources in its creation, and keeps ‘unwanted’ items out of the waste stream. It helps stop adding stuff to a world that is already overwhelmed with material things. At Make Shop Revival, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products possible.
