Phil Darst is a multi media artist from Sarasota, Florida. Phil lives near beautiful Siesta Key Beach so he creates art about sand, sea, sky and sea-life. Phil also paints other subjects he thinks you may find of interest.
How it’s Made
Alcohol ink is applied to Yupa paper for the background. Each fish is painted with acrylic paint on a plastic surface and then cut out by hand. Each fish is glued to a piece of wood, then the wood is glued to the background so it stands out in 3D.
