Meet the Maker
Hello! Welcome to my shop. My name is Mirna. Let me tell you a little bit about my life. I am Happily married to an amazing Chef. We have 3 sons together, 2 of them have been diagnosed with Autism. Our youngest (age 4) is non-verbal as well. Yes, you guessed it, I am a busy Mom. You would think, why does she want to add a business to her already busy schedule. Here is why. I Love working with my hands and watching something be created from start to finish fills me full of Joy inside. I take pride with every Creation I make. My motto is " If I wouldn't pay for this, someone else wouldn't pay for it either!" I have been Sublimating (working with Infusible ink) for about 3 years and started dabbling in Laser cutting around May of 2023. I can honestly say, I fell in Love with our Laser machine. How it’s Made
We make each piece by masking the bamboo wood with masking tape before we place it inside our laser engraver. Then we engrave each image with the proper settings. After the engraving we hand paint the engraved image and once dry we give it two coats of polyacrylic to both the front and back. We finish it with a special touch by adding a tiny handmade bow.
