DESIGN PROCESS
Ready to start? Here is what happens after you place your order:
You will receive an email order confirmation which includes my design questionnaire and easy-to-follow measuring and photo submission information.
Step 1: Questionnaire
▪▪The questionnaire helps me learn about you and your design needs. I would like to learn about your style and color preferences, budget, and wishes for your design. I want to have a good understanding of exactly what you need and want in your room design
.▪▪The step is an extremely important part of the design process. The information that you submit allows me to get to know you and your home, giving the details I need to provide you with a design that works for your needs and a look you will love.
Step 2: Measurements
▪▪Taking your room measurements ensures that your furniture layout is functional for you. I will provide you with easy-to-follow instructions for measuring your room. I will let you know what to measure and how to do it so that your measurements are accurate, and the furniture layout will work in your home.
Step 3: Pictures
▪▪The last step is to provide pictures of your room. Included is information for photographing the room and sending the photos. I will need at least six clear photos of the room and will guide you on which photos I need.
▪▪Gathering this information should take approximately 30 to 45 minutes of time and I will make this part as simple as possible. As always, if you have any questions on any of these steps I am here to help.
▪▪Your design will be sent to you by email within approximately 7 business days of receipt of all needed information.

Color is my passion. The one phrase that still sticks out to me most from design school is “mother nature is the best colorist”. Paint color selections and palettes for exteriors and interiors are my obsession. When the color is just right, the results are magical!
Design and color are personal. My goal is to help you discover your color vision for your home. Your house is about you and not me – I want to work with you to bring your color vision to life. My goal is a customer-centric business philosophy – top-notch service, personalized service, and a beautiful result.
I believe my success grew from developing and nurturing relationships. Each project is unique. Each person is an individual. My goal is to help make your home look great and become a place you want to spend precious time.
My most memorial design moments always centered around color! Working as a young assistant in an architecture firm, I was often given the task of selecting exterior color palettes.
Years later, when I appeared on HGTV’s Designers’ Challenge, the outtakes (okay - bloopers) I repeatedly said the name of the wall color which was “Roasted Sesame Seed” as “Roasted Sesame Street”. My first-time mom brain was mixed up and the color name was cut during editing. Years later, I would know when the episode aired again as my inbox would fill with the same question – what is the name of the paint color in the design?
Color has always been the connective thread of my career!
