Meet the Maker
As a little girl I grew up watching my mother make beautiful clothes for women. She was an expert seamstress and had her own shop in the small town where we lived.
She taught me everything she knew and instilled in me her love for design.
I got married, had two children and started making clothes for them. People would stop me in the street to ask me where I got their clothes. And so my business was born. I started to wholesale my designs to children's boutiques and was in Neiman Marcus's Christmas catalog for 5 years.
After several years, an opportunity to manage a retail store for a national chain presented itself. I loved the challenge of my new position so I sold my business and moved on.
Years went by and again, my creative side started to tug at me. I began to experiment with various designs. Little by little I developed my style and interest to what it is today.
In October 2018, I finally retired from retail and my husband and I moved to Cumming, Georgia. I can now devote my time to what I love. I hope it shows in my work!
Shop Policies
PROCESSING TIME: To provide you with the best possible service, I strive to ship your made to order tea towel(s) within 3-5 business days. This processing time allows me to give each piece the time and care it deserves, ensuring it meets my high standards before it reaches your doorstep.
RETURNS/EXCHANGES: Return/Exchange Policy
At Tea Time Towels, your satisfaction is my top priority, and I want to ensure that you have a hassle-free shopping experience. I understand that sometimes, circumstances may lead to the need for a return or exchange. To help you with this process, I have established the following return/exchange policy:
1. Timeframe: You may initiate a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order. Please contact me to initiate the return/exchange process.
2. Eligibility:
To be eligible for a return/exchange, the towel(s) must be in its original condition, unused, and in the same packaging (not counting shipping box or bag)as when it was delivered.
Personalized or customized items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.
3. Return/Exchange Process:
Contact me within 7 days of receiving your order to initiate the return/exchange process.
Provide your order number and a brief explanation of the reason for the return/exchange.
I will provide you with instructions on how to proceed.
4. Return/Exchange Shipping:
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return/exchange, including postage fees.
I recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining a copy of the shipping receipt for your records.
In the case of an exchange, I will cover the shipping cost to send the replacement item to you.
5. Refunds/Exchanges:
Once I receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will process your refund or initiate the exchange, as per your request.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, and you will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed.
6. Damaged or Defective Items:
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact me immediately with photos of the damaged item and its packaging. I will arrange for a replacement or refund, and we will cover the return shipping costs in such cases.
