This adorable pair of bears come with their own basket and blanket. The picnic basket has two apples, two napkins and a baguette. The girl bear has a pink dress, and the boy has striped sweater. The bears are approx. 3.5 inches tall (sitting position), and 5 1/2 inches wide. The blanket is 8 1/2 x 3 1/5 inches. The bears have no plastic parts, the eyes are embroidered. I learned how to knit when I was 8 years old. I wanted to knit clothes for my dolls, and my mother gave me needles and some yarns. I enjoy making knitted toys, especially stuffed small animals.
My sister was always fascinated with people using pottery wheels. She likes the clay's softness and malleability. The clay doesn't' always do what the potter wants. Finding the balance between her hands and clay's plasticity is almost a Zen moment for her!
