HERSTORY
This stocking has an interesting story. It is knitted from a vintage 1966 Christmas Stocking kit that was originally published by Bucilla, and came with all the supplies needed. I received the pattern from a gentleman years ago. His mother had used this pattern to knit these stockings for each of his children when they were small. Then she went on knit one for his eldest grandchild, but she passed on before his other grandchildren were born. He asked if I could help him continue his family tradition, in exchange for keeping a copy of the pattern. I've since made many more for his family, and am now offering to make them for yours!

We three sisters, Jessica, Becki & Rachael, have been crafting things since we were children. Our love for crafting never diminished, but our desire to turn it into more than a hobby blossomed in 2013 when we opened our shop.
As You Wish Boutiques is a place where the items are handmade by us, customized for you, and the themes express the love we share for vintage vibes, geeky gear, and the witchy and wonderful. We are always finding new ways of expressing our admiration for the wonderous world around us.

How it’s Made
Each stocking is hand knit with worsted acrylic yarn and embellished with glass beads, sequins, and pompoms- just like the materials that would have been included with the kit 60 years ago!
