If you’re into “feminine grunge”, then look no further than this duster / top. It’s totally versatile, and, can be easily dressed up, or, down. Pair it with a pair of jeans and boots, and, you’re ready for a day of shopping, hanging with friends, or, just feeling pretty while staying at home.
Want to dress it up? Add some high heels, fancy leggings, and jewelry, and you’re ready for a night on the town.
This is a totally sustainable, reworked piece from top to bottom. The front panel is an oversized, men’s burgundy, beige, and black button down flannel. From there I added denim strips with an overlay of sweet, eggshell lace. The black side panel with sleeves makes this super comfy, and the added red and yellow gold Kantha cotton side gussets, give it a classic, feminine flare lay.
Vintahe Kantha cotton patches were added for an eye catching diverse texture, while complementing the side gussets.
This top is completely handmade, so, there will be some imperfections, making this a true, one of a kind classic top. There is a stitch repair in the underarm area that has been restored, and, it is illustrated in the accompanying photos.
All edges are professionally serged and top stitched, as well as the added sections.
