I create original handmade bookmarks designed and crafted from my original watercolor paintings. Each bookmark is a miniature piece of art, showcasing the vibrant details and delicate brushwork characteristic of my hyperrealistic style. The "Bearded Skull" bookmark is inspired by my husband, whose beard this watercolor painting was based upon, although it's probably even longer now!

My art is a celebration of the often-overlooked details in the world around us or mashing things you would not normally see together. Working with watercolor, acrylics and gouache, I create hyperrealistic pieces that capture the intricate beauty of nature and everyday objects. How it’s Made
The original "Bearded Skull" is my 18 x 24 watercolor painting, scanned, reduced and printed on one side. The smooth, matte finish high quality paper, preserves the rich textures and vivid colors of the original painting. It is safeguarded between thick 5mil lamination with a reinforced metal grommet installed for the tail. The bookmark’s edges are neatly finished, and it comes with a coordinating tail made from Soldered 304 Stainless Steel Curb Chains and metal axe or dagger charm. I cut and edge a variety of card stock papers to uniquely package the bookmark in a sealed, plastic pouch, making it ready for gift giving or just a present for yourself.
