This homemade, all-natural, vegan lotion has been used on our farm for decades. It is suitable for all skin types - even those with the most sensitive skin issues and it has kept our skin soft and moisturized throughout the cold Minnesota winters and into the hot summer sun. This listing encompasses the best of both worlds by providing our healing, nourishing lotion in two forms - a creamy face and body lotion and a solid lotion bar with the light, relaxing scent of English Lavender. The solid moisturizing lotion bars are all-natural, made with organic ingredients - coconut oil, locally gathered bees wax, sunflower oil, vitamin E oil and fragrances. It is lotion in a bar form 3" x 2" and 3.5 oz. It fits in the palm of your hand making application very easy - no messy, excess lotion to deal with. They come in a beautiful tin container that can be easily tucked into a purse or bag and are perfect for traveling. We have a large assortment of gently scented fragrances for you to choose from and you can find a list of those fragrances in the photos. Our lotion cream contains the same all natural ingredients as the solid lotion bar, but in different proportions. Your skin will love you for treating it to the benefits found in this all natural creamy lotion. Because our oils do not have synthetic properties to them, whatsoever, the lotion soaks in quickly leaving your skin soft, pliable and retaining its elasticity throughout the seasons. The lotion cream comes in 6 oz. white, plastic containers with black screw on lids. Because only a small amount of moisturizing lotion is needed per application (less than 1/2 tsp will cover entire face and neck area), this lotion will last a very long time. Meet the Maker
Michael is Louisiana born and bred. He married a northern Minnesota farm girl and after retiring from the Air Force he found himself living in the woods of MN where temperatures can get lower than his Louisiana freezers. But he has adapted well.
Dawn is a Minnesota farm girl turned 1st grade teacher. She married her southern man and after he retired from the Air Force they moved back to her family farm. She has a passion for children, gardening and wholesome, simple foods .
After retiring from the military we purchased the farm Dawn was born and raised on in northern Minnesota with the hopes of finding a simpler lifestyle. With a great deal of faith and prayer we began working the land and found our passion. Our gardens grew, our fruit trees grew, our passion grew. We are personally involved in every step of our jelly and herb production. We till our soil, plant our crops, weed our gardens, and harvest our bounty. Our goal is always to provide a product that we would proudly serve on our table, to our friends and family.
We started out with simple vegetables grown for our local farmer's market and that expanded into homemade jams and jellies, artisan coarse ground mustard, herbal products and crafts. As we worked the farm in the summer heat and brutal winters, we soon found a need for quality skin care products and created our lotions and lotion bars.
All our fruits, berries and herbs are grown without chemicals or pesticides and are picked at the peak of ripeness, so the flavor is at its best. My jams and jellies are made with only a few key ingredients, so you won't have any problems trying to figure out what you are eating. They are gluten free, non-GMO, vegan and contain no artificial chemicals and preservatives; but only loads of sun ripened fruit, sugar and gluten free apple pectin Our herbs are also grown using natural, holistic practices and our herb products are also gluten and sodium free and non-GMO.
How it’s Made
We believe in simple, authentic farm practices so you can serve your family wholesome products and gift to your friends, as well. We don't believe in using chemicals, pesticides and other "stuff" to do what has been done for centuries. Why mess with what works?
