Leash designed for handicapped dog- Biothane leash for use with dog mobility harness, handicapped dog, mobility problems, hind end weakness

I have a love of two things: large handicapped dogs and magnificent collars. In that order! With the knowledge and experience of these two things(and my veterinary background) I have designed this leash. The purpose of it is to help ME get my 115# shepherd around in his mobility harness. He is too big for me to get him in his wheelchair on my own, and, needs me to basically carry his rear around for him. I have been so pleased with it I have decided to sell it to help other people if they so desire. I have designed it out of biothane instead of leather(even though leather is my background). Quite a few reasons for this. It is weatherproof and odor proof which is priceless with a handicapped dog...I can just drop it in the mud and hoist his rear when he needs help. It is a thick band that is both extremely durable and comfortable for your hand...this is for owners comfort. It has an adapter to fit on the rear handle with a d-ring, and, this is where I attach the leash. This is where you will need it if your dog is weak, or, down in the hind end. I have put two handles because I found I was always grasping for different lengths of leash. I have three areas to grab now- the handle on his rear harness, a low handle for helping him up/walking beside him, a high handle (giving me more length for when he needs to walk ahead of me or go through doorways). I have attached two swivel clips to attach to the harness. You can attach mid back, or, up by the shoulder. For me this just serves to get the leash off the ground when he is laying down. This way if he get up quickly and starts pulling himself in front he doesn't get tangled in the leash. This could serve to assist if your dog has weakness in the front limbs as well. I have also fastened a d-ring to the actual leash so my dog can carry his own poop bags...you can use for tags if you prefer. It's the whole package really.
