Use a clean rag or your fingers to massage the salve into your leather, then buff it with a rag.

Meet the Maker
Welcome to my shop! My name is Emily, and I live in Corvallis, Oregon. I have been a Shoemaker since 2017, where I learned about leather and all it takes to work with it. Leather shoemaking led me to creating wallets, handbags, bracelets, earrings, eyeglass cases, and other leather accessories. Some of my pieces are other people's patterns, but most are self-drafted. I picked up much of my pattern-making from tearing things apart and seeing how they were put together, as I have not been formally taught. I have made many iterations of the same piece, slightly modified, to get something 'just right'. I usually do a combination of machine sewing and hand stitching. Sometimes the piece might be impossible to get under the sewing machine, but also because I very much enjoy it! I love working with my hands and hope to continue for a very long time. Shop Policies
Processing Times Please allow for 1-2 days for processing your order. For Made to Order items, allow for 3-5 business days.
Returns There is a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at borrowedleather@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at borrowedleather@gmail.com.
Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at borrowedleather@gmail.com.
