Welcome to Emma Deia!
Hi, I’m Emma—a lifelong creative and self-taught maker behind every piece you’ll find here. I create handmade crossbody bags, accessories, home décor, and the occasional batch of clay earrings—all from my cozy home studio (aka a tiny spare room I share with my sleepy studio pup, Grizzly).
My journey started during a very low point in 2019, when I was struggling with severe depression and unable to work. With gentle encouragement from loved ones, I began sharing my creations—first paintings, then sewing—thanks to my mamaw, who re-taught me with care and patience while I was helping care for her husband.
Every item I make is infused with purpose: to create something beautiful, joyful, and useful—and to build a better future for my family. I’m inspired by playful patterns, rich textures, and anything that simply makes life feel brighter.

This Kindle Sleeve is carefully handmade with love using cotton fabric and a soft foam interfacing for structure. The slip pocket is stitched for convenience, and the satin ribbon closure adds a charming finishing touch. The lining is carefully selected to coordinate beautifully with the exterior.

Canvas/duck cloth: Spot clean with mild soap and a damp cloth
Marine vinyl: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth
For tougher stains on vinyl, use a gentle cleaner with a damp cloth
Cotton lining can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent
Allow bag to air dry completely before use
