****The natural characteristic of patinas is to variate. Tube colors will vary from light to dark blues and may sometimes have areas of bare copper.
This is exactly the same as the other "Little Spirit" displayed in the listings, but instead of the hammered copper dome top it has a cedar wood top.
The most unique feature of this small size wind chime is its sound. The 5 copper tubes with a solid wood ball clapper give this wind chime soft, mellow tones that are very soothing to listen to. Keep in mind that with their soft tones they will not have the same volume as some other wind chimes. It also has excellent durability for direct exposure to the weather and will give many years of listening pleasure.
What makes this wind chime different and special from others?
Solid brass grommets are placed in the pipe holes to reduce cord fraying. Thicker cord is used for better wear and longer life. The wind catcher is made from copper roof flashing, which has been torched to create attractive colors and then enamel coated. All metal used is non-rusting copper and brass.
Why are they blue?
The copper tubes have been treated chemically to produce the beautiful blue patina, which is a very calming, tranquil color.
What materials are used in its construction?
This wind chime is made with copper tubes and solid brass hardware, which are both non-rusting metals. The wood top is cedar and the wood ball clapper is birch, both of which have been soaked in a preservative. All cord used is black braided polyester, which is very resistant to U.V. light, rot and mildew. The wind catcher is made from copper. All of these materials are very durable and create a wind chime that is very strong and long lasting.

Meet the Maker
I am full time, self-taught copper artist. Copper is a wonderful medium to work with. It has great versatility in its ability to be transformed with heating, hammering and chemical reactions. It is also very durable and has a nice warm energy, which is the main reason I chose it as a medium.
I began over 30 years ago making high quality wind chimes with copper tubes and wood ball clappers. This creates soft, mellow tones that are very soothing to listen to. Over the past several years I felt a need to expand and more recently I began creating copper wall hangings which have been hand cut and hand formed. In all of my work I strive to be more unique and original to offer a product that cannot be found anywhere else.

REFUNDS and EXCHANGES
Merchandise (excluding custom work) can be returned for any reason within 30 days of the delivery for an exchange or refund. Merchandise returned in good, original condition will receive a full purchase price refund. Merchandise that is not defective or damaged when you receive it and returned in damaged or unsatisfactory condition will be subject to a 25% reduced refund. If the merchandise is not defective, damaged or in error when you receive it, you are responsible to pay the cost to return it.
