This is a part of the blue bronze series. They are a mix and match of several beads that all go together beautifully. I am adding a few more items to this series after discovering this beautiful focal bead.
Most items in this series can be made in copper or antique brass, but some, like this one, are only available in copper.The focal bead is an 18mm star flower bead with a beautiful turquoise blue, coated with a bronze finish. They are all slightly different in the amount of bronze on the bead, but I will try to match the photo as much as possible. They are stunning beads! This one is only available in copper.
If you are buying several items from this series, be sure to pick the same metal color if that is important to you.As shown, this one has a 30 inch chain. The pendant section hangs an additional 2.25 inches. The copper ring is 32mm (1.25" ) in diameter.

Meet the Maker
This is MY WHY
A light-bulb moment happened to me while I was listening to a business talk regarding the question, “Why are you doing what you are doing?” Such a simple question but for me, the answer is complex. I am, at heart, a craftswoman. I have a Master’s degree in art with an emphasis in ceramics. I am a maker, an artisan. I am happiest when I am making things, whether it is pottery or jewelry.
But my “why” has developed over the years to become something bigger than the art of design and making. My purpose is my family. I am a mom to four amazing kids! When one of my daughters was just a baby (she’s in her 20s now!), I was a potter without a studio and needed to consider other ways to engage my artist energy. Jewelry became a way to fulfill this need to create while providing a stream of income for my family. The timing could not have been more perfect as we were going through a real rough patch and had four hungry mouths to feed. Three of those hungry mouths discovered a love for dance and my jewelry income began to pay for dance and sports.
As they have grown, our financial needs have shifted, and now my husband and I have kids in college and the youngest about to finish high school! How did that happen?!? While my three oldest were in high school, they were each diagnosed with a progressive and degenerative disease that affects their peripheral nerves. The disease atrophies the muscles in their feet & legs and hands & arms. All too soon, all four of my children were officially diagnosed. As you can imagine, this has been a life-changer for them all. And this is how I gained my new motivation, my renewed energy, and strong sense of purpose. This is my why - THEY are my why. Now, instead of worrying about groceries and/or dance class money, I am doing everything in my power to help them get their start in their adult lives on a solid foundation - without pulling college loans.
This shop represents the culmination of my motivation and my purpose. Thank you for supporting MY WHY!
A few years ago I was personally tasked with a mission to find a metal that wasn't as expensive as pure gold and silver, but that would be good for those with metal sensitivities. I found that pure titanium does not bother even the most sensitive ears. Every pair of earrings available in my shop can be made with titanium ear wire. For hygienic reasons, earrings may not be returned.
I also am unable to accept returns on custom made items. Of course anything custom is photographed and verified before shipping.
