Meet the Maker
A vibrant 72-year-young, retired police officer, who now finds joy on my small farm! With a heart full of stories and a spirit full of creativity, I raise various animals that bring life to my days. When I’m not tending to my furry friends, you can find me bouncing from one craft project to another, always captivated by new ideas.
I love wood cutting and engraving both wood and tile, turning everyday materials into beautiful pieces of art. Painting is another passion, allowing me to express my personality on canvas. Additionally, I craft delightful DIY kits for those who enjoy adding their personal touch to projects.

How it’s Made
I take a ceramic tile that is 6" x 6" and paint it with two coats of a white non-toxic emulsion made from children's safe glue and white pigment. This causes a reaction with the laser so that it will cut a design into the tile. Once the paint has dried I upload the design I want into the computer and burn the design into the tile. When this is complete I will then scrub the tile with hot soapy water, let dry then paint. I also attach a cork backing to keep furniture and counters protected. I do not coat the trivets with anything as the heat from a hot pot would react with a coating. The trivet is hand-washable. Not dishwasher safe.
