"Light Bringer" is dedicated to rebellious gods with a deep love of humanity particularly Lucifer, though also applicable for deities such as Prometheus and Apollo, who are willing to take on great personal sacrifice to aid human beings. It is intended to aid facing personal sacrifice, rebelling against oppression or arbitrary authority, raise personal power, and take joy in creation, craft, personal mastery and the works of humanity.

All candles are made from USDA certified organic beeswax. All candles are scented with satsuma and cayenne and rolled in dried mugwort.

DESCRIPTION
Lucifer is an ancient Latin deity of the light of dawn, largely seen as the solar consort to the lunar goddess, and shares much in common with deities of light who spend time in the Underworld in a yearly cycle or in part of their mythology. With the development of Judeo-Christian mythology after the fall of the Roman Empire, he was relegated to one of Christianity's many Gods turned demons and re-emerged as a god of rebellion and individualism. As with all of the entities named "the fallen" it was for his great love of humanity he rebelled, and as such he is a powerful ally for individuals who seek their own sovereignty against arbitrary authority or oppression who provides deep wisdom as well as reminds one to take joy in the very short but divine gift that is human life.
In Hellenic mythology, Prometheus was the titan who created human beings in the likeness of the gods, and just as importantly he brought to humanity the sacred tool of fire so that they may cook, stay warm, defend themselves, and create many of the arts. For this he was chained to a rock one which every day an eagle would tear out and eat his liver which would regrow, until Heracles would eventually free him. Though cult worship of Prometheus was largely limited to Athens where he was honored alongside Athena and Hephaestus, he would rise in later times as a symbol of the human drive for further knowledge even at the risk of overreaching and the willingness to shoulder the consequence.
SAFETY:
Never leave a lit candle unattended, and place a flameproof object under candle for precaution and to collect wax. As an irregular shaped candle melting wax has a tendency to drip unpredictably.

How it’s Made
Please note as a handmade object made from pure, natural beeswax, it is natural for the wax to change color throughout the seasons with the pollen and nectar available to the bees. Therefore, there will often be slight variations in color. Yellow beeswax is pure and natural with no additions. White beeswax has been naturally bleached of the yellow hue. All other colors have the addition of a candle dye and nothing more.
Solis Iluminatum uses the best beeswax it can source. The largest bulk from Gardner Bees, a small family-owned farm in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, and others supplemented from wholesale suppliers from the United States committed to sustainability efforts under the certification of Oregon Tilth. We hope you will recognize the unique gentle scent and texture of 100% beeswax, uncut with any vegetable or petroleum based waxes.
