Meet the Maker
A little about me...
Hello and welcome! I’ve always been creative and originally went to college for Theater Design. I designed theater sets and costumes, led fun craft activities for a church camp, and the list goes on. All of that was shelved when I pursued a career in broadcast media marketing and sales. It was fun and exciting, and to a point, I was able to continue using my artistic nature in visual campaigns as well as the audible advertising campaigns I created for my clients.
My shop, By Marion Art Handmade, was born seven years ago when my husband and I took an assignment working as senior retirement community managers. Aside from our managerial duties, I thought how nice it might be to decorate the main lobbies and foyers with large wreaths. That was the beginning—one or two wreaths for every holiday and a quarterly class for the residents, teaching them how to make wreaths for their apartment doors. I found it to be so much fun, and I truly loved creating wreaths and other décor pieces.
We no longer work in that industry, but I have been able to return to where my heart feels at home—art, design, and creation—taking advantage of wonderful materials and mediums. I’ve listed some of my favorite wreaths that I’ve greatly enjoyed designing and creating.
Beyond wreaths, I also design and create other home décor pieces, such as centerpieces for tables or statement pieces for over the fireplace. I love bringing spaces to life with thoughtful, handcrafted designs. Additionally, I offer custom work for commercial enterprises, helping businesses add a unique and welcoming touch to their spaces. Whether you need a one-of-a-kind piece for your home or a custom design for a business, feel free to reach out—I’d love to create something special for you!

Custom and personalized orders
I will gladly accept Custom Orders. Please contact me and let me know what you are looking for and I will do my best to create a Wreath/ or Home Decore Item for you.
Care instructions:
The Deco Mesh itself is water-resistant but the ribbon and other accent pieces could be damaged by rain or other weather elements. I recommend placing your wreath on a door that has an overhang. Over time, as with anything left outside, the mesh and other pieces of the wreath may fade. It is common for the mesh to fray, this does not affect the quality of the wreath. Your wreath should typically last you a few seasons (a season is considered about 1-3 months) and customers generally change out their wreaths each season, (for example, Halloween would be hung for the month of October).
Care instructions
Wreath Storage: When storing your wreath you may store it in a box or plastic bag. The wreath should be not be stored in a location that will expose the wreath to extreme heat or cold which could damage your wreath.
Shipping Policies
All wreaths are shipped USPS/UPS unless otherwise agreed upon. Shipping charges are for Shipping and Handling - it includes the price of the box and any packing material plus the cost to ship to you. I will ship USPS Parcel Ground Mail UNLESS another shipping option is otherwise agreed upon. Please send me a message if you would like to upgrade your shipping and I can invoice you separately.
