The ancient Egyptians loved malachite so much, it became the stone associated with the goddess Hathor. Malachite is also the protection from evil stone- if you are into that sort of thing. Regardless of the symbolism, malachite is beeaautiful and so is this pendant (if I do say so myself :) ).
This tear drop has banding across the stone showing its beauty. The stone is wrapped and woven with copper wire. The bail is woven to give a more luxurious feel and flow to the piece. The sweeping, woven curls accentuate the tear drop shape. Take home this wonderful piece of wearable art today!

Greetings! We enjoy crafting things people enjoy- art, jewelry and most things hand crafted. We have been making jewelry for many years, working in silver, gold-filled and copper wire. We are looking forward to the new journey of selling online and providing items people will enjoy and love.
How it’s Made
The pendant is made from imitation malachite cut into a tear drop. The pendant is wrapped in copper wire. The pendant is 2" long by 1" wide.
The copper has been left natural, polished and sealed with Renaissance Wax. The wire will still patina over time. You can clean the wire to maintain the natural look if you choose.
