Meet the Maker
Welcome to my shop. My name is Vinny and I am an artist and creator of fun stuff. Handmade candles, incense, wax melts. I also create dolls and assorted items depending on what I feel like doing at the moment. I hope you find something you like and will come back to see me again soon.
How it’s Made
During the creative process after deciding on a theme, which would include a purpose for the candles. The colors I want to use. The fragrance. Any added gemstones or charms. The mold or container and the intention of the candle I then turn on some music and start heating my wax.
I use a hybrid wax, which is 50% soy and 50% paraffin.
These are a high-quality wax in my opinion, and make the best candles.
Once I heat my wax, I add my dyes and then my essential oils.
After that, it’s just a matter of setting my wicks and pouring my wax and being patient.
It’s a very meditative process because you’ve got the music on and you can tune everything else out and just concentrate on the wax and color and scent permeating throughout the room.
