Mellow Yellow Pumpkin Seeds:
Mellow Yellow pumpkins are newer to the market. Mellow yellow is round and somewhat blocky in shape and can weigh in the range of 18-22 pounds. The stem is thick and strong with a wide base. The exterior is covered with significant but subtle ribbing. Trials for this pumpkin yielded a consistent and reliable 2 plants per vine. This variety has impressive resistance to powdery mildew.
Mellow yellow will add contrast to pumpkin patches or displays on account of its bright lemon-yellow hue. This variety is also edible, but the flesh is stringy and less desirable than pie varieties. These are also excellent carving pumpkins.
The maturity for Mellow Yellow is 95-100 days.
