This unique journal makes a beautiful gift. It is covered front and back with high-quality graphic paper and embellished with polymer clay tiles. The individual tiles have been hand-stamped and enhanced with mica powders, charms, beads and gems. The covers are wrapped with copper tape then sealed and the tape patinated. The resulting texture is an authentic patina and will be irregular and organic in nature.

Each journal will have slight variations due to the hand-crafted nature and should not be considered defects but an integral part of an original art piece. Graphic paper backgrounds may not be the exact design shown but will be very similar with the same color tone.

Meet the Maker
My name is Sylvr Sharp and I'm a mixed-media artist. I have never met a medium I didn't like.
My background is in retail visual display creating window displays and specializing in thematic environments and props. My favorite themes include Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, and Christmas.
Throughout the process of creating I often come across sources of inspiration which I immediately have to try. The products here are the result of those "shiny object" moments.

How it’s Made
Materials used:
Polymer Clay
Graphic Paper
Mica Powders
Acrylic Paint
Various Charms and Gems
Copper Tape
I hand-stamp Polymer Clay which is then altered with acrylic paint and mica powders or image transfers. Gems and charms are embedded in the clay, and then I pick out graphic papers to coordinate for the background. The whole thing is sealed and then wrapped with copper tape, which is then treated with a special patina mixture for an authentic aged finish.
