Meet Ben Bear! This memory bear is handmade to order. It is a customized, personalized keepsake bear, made from your loved one’s clothing, favorite blanket/sheet, robe or almost any fabric.
It can also be used to commemorate any special event! Baptism, communion, confirmation, graduation, wedding, baby’s first Christmas, couple’s first Christmas, new home. The options are only limited to your imagination! Let me help you design the perfect keepsake item that you will treasure forever.
You can customize it with a photo on the tummy, embroidery on the tummy, embroidery on one or both the feet and/or ears, or a sweet combination of any or all of them!

Meet the Maker
Welcome to my shop! Where everything is handmade with love.
I began sewing when I was a young teen. I learned on my grandmothers old Singer machine. It was the first electric model that Singer made. I love watching projects come together! I mostly sewed clothes for myself and my friends throughout school and college. All along I kept hearing "You should sell these!"
Later, I started my family and worked full time. After having babies, I got into fitness to stay healthy and fit. Being tall, I could never find athletic clothes with arms and legs long enough that fit me. So, I made my own. I also taught myself embroidery. Obstacle course racing gave me the confidence to step outside of my comfort zone. I posted my makes on social media. Again, I kept hearing "You should sell these".
Then, I was diagnosed with Lupus. In 2022, I stopped working outside the home. I got involved with making memory bears for our local hospice. Working in healthcare my entire adult life, it seemed like a good fit for me. Making memory bears is truly a labor of love. As people saw my work, the word spread. I started getting contracted to make bears, tee shirt quilts and do custom embroidery. I became known locally as 'The memory bear lady from Plymouth Meeting"!
That's how Pamelas Threads and Memories was born!
Shop Policies
The turnaround time after ordering is normally 5-7 days. Custom orders are normally 7-10 days. This may vary according to the order. Memory bear and tee shirt quilt orders vary according to the individual order. You will be given an approximate turnaround time when you order.
On all custom orders there is a strict no return policy. These are one of a kind items that are made to the customers' unique specifications and are individually crafted. We will make every effort to make sure you are completely satisfied.
The Memory Bears are not toys and are not meant to be played with. Although safety eyes and noses are used, they are also not intended for children under 4.
For bear and tee shirt orders, you will receive an email with instructions on where to ship the clothing.
